Over the course of six dramatic seasons, Koffee With Karan has come to be associated with rumours and controversies. And it appears that season 7 won’t be any different. In advance of the program’s return the following week, the Koffee with Karan 7 trailer was released on Saturday. It offers a preview of how the popular program’s upcoming season will step up the ante.

The trailer showed some intriguing pairings. Anil Kapoor will be teamed with Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, who co-starred with Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy. Other couples were Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Highlights of the clip included Samantha accusing Karan of being the cause of many “unhappy marriages,” Sara making a sarcastic remark about her “ex,” and Ranveer claiming to have numerous “sex playlists.

“The goal of the show, according to Karan, was to be open and enjoyable, but now days, because people are more wary of what they say on the show, that has become more challenging. “Everyone is so like, will you ask me about this,” Karan said to Film Companion. “Will you not ask me about this?” Can you please stop that? What happened to candour, genuine conversation, and informal interviews, specifically? I mean, I managed to get several cricket players into problems while having no connection to them.

Ranbir Kapoor flat-out declined to participate in the show, according to Karan Johar, who claimed that one’s “public perception” can be influenced by how they perform on the couch. The former host and filmmaker relayed what Ranbir had said. “I won’t be appearing on your show. He says, “I’ve had to bear the cost of this for far too long.” Why should I subject myself to this? I love you, and I’ll meet with you at your place so we can discuss, he declared. You deliver coffee to my house. Please understand that I am not there for the show,” Karan stated.

Earlier this year, the new season of the programme was revealed. Earlier seasons were shown on Star World. However, starting on July 7, the programme will be available to stream on hotstar.
