The premier for the much-awaited reboot for ‘Sex and The City‘ –  ‘And Just Like That’ – was held on Wednesday with Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress best known for her role of fashionista Carrie Bradshaw, was glowing on the red carpet event. 

The actress was accompanied to the event by Matthew Broderick, her husband and James, her 19 year old son. The ceremony was held at the New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

The actress slayed her look with a pink tulle cocktail dress, a matching grey cape and bright pink heels. She indeed lived up to her on screen role of a fashionista, by pulling a great outfit at the age of 56. 

In an interview taken by Entertainment Tonight she said that she was “very, very pleased” her husband and son could join her for the event. Moreover, she commented on her young son by calling him a “young man.”

Fans are excited about the “Sex and the City” revival and especially as Bradshaw, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbs are reuniting. The women in the new chapter are set to establish another story of fashionable friends as they seek to navigate a different story in the hub of the New York City.

A trailer of the series was released in November with an opening scene of Parker Bradshaw sitting in a recording studio. She is likely to be portraying the role of a media personality this time. “The more I live, the more I find that if you have good friends in your corner, anything’s possible,” she whispers into a microphone.

Some new characters will also be a part of the “Sex and the City” universe. These include Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley, Sarita Choudhury’s Seema Patel and Karen Pittman’s Dr. Nya Wallace.

The first two episodes of “And Just Like That..” will debut on December 9, 2021 on HBO followed by a weekly release schedule.
