Season 2 of Sex Education ended on a cliffhanger as Otis confessed his love for Maeve through a voicemail which was deleted by Maeve’s new friend Isaac. Sex Education is back with Season 3 and now we can finally get the answer we all have been waiting for.

The third season of the show introduces new characters like Hope Hadden, the new principal of the school who makes quite an impressive entry, but is also an authoritarian figure. The first episode hints at some major changes that Moordale High would go through.

Otis is now in a casual relationship with Ruby Matthews and Maeve continues to get close to her neighbour Isaac, which is the guy we all hate after the Season 2 finale.

Moordale high gets a new ‘Sex King’, who gets a student in trouble with his advice. Otis goes after him and threatens to tell the school about his side hustle but the ‘Sex King’ threatens Otis back saying that he’s going to tell everybody about his and Ruby’s relationship. Otis tries to hide his secret relationship but eventually, the whole school comes to know about it.

While hooking up in a secret location, Ruby admits she’s embarrassed to be seen by him. Otis tells her they are done if she’s embarrassed by him. 

As for Otis’s mom, Jean, well she’s pregnant with Jakob’s baby but she hasn’t told him yet. She keeps driving past his house finding the courage to tell him about the baby.

Dex, a student receives advice from the new ‘Sex King’ and lands in an embarrassing situation. Maeve and Otis find distressed Dex and advises him on his sex situation. Otis realises that it’s wrong for a student to receive sex advice from another student, so he goes and informs Hadden that the sex clinic is still running illegally but it isn’t him or Maeve running it. 

Ruby tells Otis that everyone knows about them, so she tells him that they can still see each other and kiss publicly to prove herself. The episode ends with the abandoned bathroom getting destroyed. Does it mean that the sex clinic is now over for good? We will never know.
