Netflix’s hit British comedy-drama Sex Education is back
with a new season. Fans have had to wait for new episodes for over 18 months
and they won’t have to hold their breaths much longer. The new season will be releasing
on Friday with most of the familiar faces back in their roles.

A lot of changes are expected in season 3 along with the
introduction of three new characters.

Jason Isaacs will be performing the role of headmaster
Michael Groff’s older and more successful brother. Adam’s father has been
residing with him since splitting from his wife Maureen.

Isaacs is a 58-year-old English actor well known for roles
in Black Hawk down, Harry Potter films and Star Trek: Discovery. He revealed watching
the show with his teen daughters.

Jemima Kirke will be playing the role of Moordale High’s new
headmistress ‘Hope’ after Mr Groff gets fired. She is a former student who has
returned to the school with the aim of getting it back to its previous heights.

She wants to get rid of the ‘Sex School’ label and is quick to bring changes.
The first one being visible from the trailer is the introduction of a school
uniform.

Kirke is a 36-year-old English-American artist well known
for her role in the HBO series ‘Girls’. She also starred in the video of Zayn
Malik’s hit single “Dusk Till Dawn”.

Dua Saleh is set to play Cal, a nonbinary student at
Moordale High. They are an articulate student and immediately form a connection
with the school’s golden boy Jackson. They are expected to shake things up at
the school by being at loggerheads with new headmistress ‘Hope’.

Saleh, like their character identify as a nonbinary person
and will be making their acting debut with this role. They already have a fan following
thanks to their growing music career. They often use their social media platforms
to raise awareness on socio-political issues.
