Netflix’s hit show, Sex Education will be back with season 3 on September 17, 2021. Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Maeve (Emma Mackey) and the rest of the gang is back in their final year of school.

Although the Sex Education third season’s filming schedule was disturbed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting began in the United Kingdom last September. All the episodes of ‘Sex Education’ season 3 will premiere on Netflix on September 17.

Netflix on July 19, dropped an ‘Official Advert’, a fictional advertisement for Moordale Secondary School. The main cast of the show except Eric appeared in the advertisement. They were seen praising their school with their new Head Teacher Hope Haddon played by actress Jemima Kirke.

On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, ‘Sex Education’ dropped the official trailer of the show. In the official trailer, the Head Teacher revamped the school, from students’ uniforms to their way of walking in a single line.

The trailer released also hinted at a possible kissing scene between Otis and Maeve, significant progress in Eric and Adam’s (Connor Swindells) relationship. It also showed a pregnant Jean (Gillian Anderson).

‘Sex Education’ Season 2 ended with the Moordale Secondary School facing a big PR issue due to the chlamydia outbreak, which led to the firing of the Head Teacher Groff (Alistair Petrie).

Adam had publicly confessed his love for Eric. Jean discovered that she was pregnant with her ex Jakob’s child. Jean also forgave Otis for being an illicit sex therapist.

After his break-up with Ola and a one-night stand with Ruby, Otis confessed his love for Maeve through a voicemail which was deleted by Maeve’s new friend Isaac (George Robinson). Maeve had called social services on her drug-addicted mother.
