is back in session and is expected to bring more drama than ever before.
Netflix has released the trailer for the third season of its hit British comedy-drama
series Sex Education and it looks promising. It has been a while since season
two came out and considering the number of stories that the viewers need to
keep track of while watching the show, it can get overwhelming. Allow us to
refresh your memories and take you through everything that happened in last
season’s finale.

All is not
well between Jean and Otis. His mother discovers his sex clinic which angers
her but Otis does not believe that he is at fault at ends up Therapizing his
mother about her fear of rejection. He also confronts his father Remi, asking
him why he left to which Remi simply says ‘I’m an a—hole.’

Unable to trust
Erin, Maeve asks Isaac to search her trailer for her mother’s hidden drugs which
he does. This leads to Maeve reporting her mother to social services for the
sake of her sister but she regrets doing so when her mother shows up for her
Quiz competition. When they get home after celebrating her team’s victory, Erin
is distraught when she sees social services at their trailer realizing that
Maeve made the call. Maeve feels awful and Isaac comforts her, saying she did
the right thing.

Eric had
been in a happy and healthy relationship with Rahim but it all changes when he
has a conversation with Adam who acknowledges his mistreatment of Eric. Adam
performs a grand gesture, interrupting the play to ask Eric to hold his hand. Eric
looks guiltily at Rahim and accepts Adam’s proposal, apologizing to Rahim after
the show who warns Eric that he is about to get into a toxic relationship.

Jackson
nervously steps onto the stage to make his debut and feels overwhelmed by
looking at the crowd. However, he is able to calm his nerves and give a
flawless performance after finding Viv in the crowd who gives him a warm smile
and encourages him. The two share a hug after Jackson finishes his performance.

At the end
of the episode, Mr Groff accuses Jean of corrupting the kids and running a sex
clinic. Otis does not stand there listening to his mother’s name being dragged
through the mud and reveals that he is the one who has been running the clinic.
This softens his bond with his mother.

Otis finally
confesses his love for Maeve in a voicemail. But his message is deleted by Isaac,
which leaves us wondering if Maeve will find out about the voicemail. Another
bombshell was dropped on the fans when they discovered Jean is pregnant with
Jakob’s baby (who she had broken up with).

Will the
next season solve all the mysteries or will the makers leave the fans hanging

when the third season of Sex Education releases on Netflix.
