Sex Education will be back on our
Netflix screens tomorrow with its third season and it has the fans on their
toes. With that season two cliffhanger, no one can blame them. The
trailer teased an entirely different vibe with the school Moordale High
undergoing a change in administration.

The official synopsis reads, “It’s a new year, Otis is having casual
sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, new
headteacher Hope tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee
discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush, and a lost voicemail still looms.
Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes, and much more
of Madam Groff.”

Romantic pairings will certainly be
shuffled in the upcoming season with Eric leaving Rahim for Adam in the season
two finale. However, the question that has kept the fans hooked is whether or
not Maeve and Otis end up together.

Otis finally got himself to express
his feelings for Maeve but will she ever find out the truth after Isaac deleted
the revealing voicemail. However, after so much tension between the two to no avail
a section of the fans believes that the two will never end up together.

Maeve might choose to continue being
with Isaac even after finding out about the voicemail or maybe when she does
Otis is already in a relationship with another girl.

A bunch of people have already started
pairing Otis and Ruby, the girl he lost his virginity to. It will be an
unexpected pairing between the most popular girl at school and the awkward guy
who gives out sex advice but the couple already has a fan following.

This pairing seems even more likely
after the shows writer and creator Laurie Nunn hinted in an interview with The
Guardian that Otis and Maeve might not end up together just yet. She stated “In TV shows, when the people that you
want to get together actually do, then usually it’s like you burst some kind of
bubble. I always feel like it’s the thing you think you want, but you don’t actually want,”

She
says, admitting a lot of people want them to hook up. “Also, you can’t fall in
love with the person of your dreams when you’re 17. They should probably wait
till they are older and wiser.”
