Netflix released the official trailer of the four-part social
and cultural documentary series titled “Crime Stories: India Detectives” on Tuesday. It
follows the Bengaluru city police on the job as they set out to solve four
enthralling crimes. It is slated for a release later this month, on September
22.

From the trailer it seems like the police will be
investigating a murder and a kidnapping along with two other cases. Police
officials are seen talking about the difficulties they face on the job and the
impacts of getting emotionally attached to a case.

We will get an insight into the functioning of the Police
department like never before. The viewers will follow a crime from the moment
it has been reported to how it was solved. The safety of India’s Silicon Valley
rests in the hands of these brave hearts and every second is crucial.

Jack Warrender is the series director and Claire Cahill is
the series producer. The Minnow Films production offers a glimpse into the
complex psyche of a suspect.
