Indian actor and playback singer Shruti Haasan turned 36 today. Many friends, family members and fans of the actor used social media to send her birthday wishes.
Overwhelmed with the greetings, Haasan took to Instagram to pen down a note of gratitude.
Sharing a picture of herself in a black SlipKnot t-shirt and necklace, the actor is seen with a pouty expression.

She captioned the post, “Big *kiss emoji* for all of you who take the time to show me your love and appreciation. I am so beyond thankful I cannot even begin to explain. It isn’t even my birthday yet and I feel so loved and celebrated. One more year on our complicated and beautiful planet and I seem to know one thing for sure.. I don’t know enough. So much to learn, to see, to love and to be. I find myself surrounded by the reality I always wanted for myself. A sense of balance has found its way to me instead of me grabbing at it. I have learned from each and every one I encounter in person or online and for that I am grateful. Love will always lead the way…. And thank you so much for your *purple heart emoji*”.
Uploaded 16 hours ago, the Instagram post has amassed over 132,000 likes and more than 800 comments. Many fan accounts of the actor took to the comments to send her birthday wishes.

Since then, Haasan has reposted an array of birthday wishes on her Instagram stories. The actor will celebrate the day along with her partner Santanu Hazarika and sibling Akshara Haasan.
On the professional front, the actor will next be seen in Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’, an action thriller featuring Prabhas in the lead role. The film is set for worldwide release on April 14, 2022. Makers of the film recently took to social media to unveil the film’s poster.
