England cricketer Stuart Broad and Mollie King on Wednesday announced that they are pregnant with their first child. 

Sharing a black and white photo of her fiance Broad kissing the baby bump, King said that they are ‘absolutely over the moon’. The two had announced their engagement in January 2021.

“Stuart and I are so so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby later this year! We’re absolutely over the moon,” King wrote in the caption. 

Her bandmate Rochelle Humes commented, “Best news ever.”Frankie Bridge added, “Can. Not. Wait! ?.”

Mollie King’s BBC Radio 1 co host Matt Edmondson went on congratulate the couple: “Congratulations guys. What a beautiful picture. That baby has no idea how lucky it is to have you both as parents. ❤️ ??.”

Announcing their engagement in January last year, Mollie King had written: “A thousand times yes! I still can’t believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you @stuartbroad.”

Stuart Broad, one of England’s greatest pacers. is currently facing New Zealand in a three-match Test series. The Three Lions have already won two games. Earlier this month, Mollie King wished her fiance ahead of the first Test at the Lord’s Stadium

“I’m so excited to come and watch you do what you love and cheer you on! Enjoy every minute out there. I’m so proud of you! Come on boys you’ve got this!!” she wrote alongside a selfie of them together.

A few days ago, Broad admitted that the couple has not set the date for their wedding.

“It’s obviously been a tricky time to plan a wedding. We were looking at trying to do it last summer but then it just felt too risky, that it might get cancelled,” he told The Express.
