Denim shorts worn by Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game during Sunday Night Football were sold out online.

The pop star, who is rumored to be in a romantic relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, showed up during Sunday’s game in a celeb-packed box at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. For her second appearance at an NFL game this season, she chose to don a pair of logo-lettering denim shorts by fashion label AREA.

It is unclear if AREA was aware of the fact that the pop star was going to wear shorts designed by them. But the shorts which typically retail for a whopping $1,213, were being sold at 50% off on the night of the game. While this could have been just a coincidence, the slashed pricing did help boost the sale of the apparel. So much so, that by Monday morning, the shorts were all sold out.

This was not a complete shocker as even NFL broadcasting channel NBC took full advantage of the craze surrounding Swift’s alleged dating life involving one of the ‘SNF’ athletes, as they made references to the pop star’s songs as well as several cutaway shots to her cheering with her celebrity entourage that included Blake Lively, Sofie Turner, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman.

This is not the first piece of clothing to fly off the shelf linked to Swift and Kelce’s budding relationship. The jacket Kelce was spotted wearing while leaving the Chiefs game last week with Swift also sold out fast. TMZ reported at the time that the fashion line added “1989” to the name of the jacket Travis wore, which was a reference to one of Swift’s albums.
