Telugu actor Sai Dharam Tej is reportedly hospitalised after meeting with a road accident on Hyderabad’s cable bridge on Friday evening. The 34-year-old actor was reportedly riding his Triumph bike at a high speed, when he lost control, leading to the accident. He is reportedly unconscious at the moment and is on ventilator. Doctors are reportedly monitoring him closely at the moment and are yet to release an official statement on his health.
The actor, who is the nephew of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, was reportedly rushed to Medicover Hospital from the scene for immediate assistance but is likely to be shifted to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills.

Police officer Venkateshwarlu told the Hindu that the accident took place around 8.30 p.m. on Friday. The actor was going towards Gachibowli from Jubilee Hills on his bike when he lost control. There was not much traffic on the usually busy road due to Vinayaka Chavathi, which is a public holiday. The actor reportedly suffered injuries on the head, chest, hand and other parts of the body.
Police were verifying the CCTV footages in the area to see whether Taj was riding alone or was with a group of bikers.

Meanwhile, actor Chiranjeevi, his brother Pawan Kalyan, producer Allu Aravind, the actor’s younger brother Vaishnav Tej and other family members were at the hospital.
A case under relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code will be registered and a probe will be launched.

The actor, who made his acting debut with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham (2014), will next be seen in a movie titled ‘Republic’. Helmed by director Deva Katta, the political thriller will hit big screens on October 1. The movie also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishnan in prominent roles.
