Actor-producer Anushka Sharma on Thursday posed for paparazzi and thanked them for respecting her family’s privacy as she made her first public appearance with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, since the birth of their first child.
“Thank you for respecting,” said the actor in a video posted by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on Instagram. In the video, Anushka can be seen posing in denim on denim outfit standing close to her husband, who was seen in black apparel.
Notably, Anushka and Virat welcomed their baby daughter on January 11. After announcing the birth, the new parents requested paparazzi not to click the pictures of their new-born on January 13.

While expressing their gratitude, the duo wrote to the paparazzi fraternity in Mumbai to respect their daughter’s privacy.
“As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support,” their social media post said.
The couple assured that they will share the “content” with the paparazzi at the right time.

On January 6, Anushka lashed out at paparazzi for clicking pictures and invading their privacy. The actor, in an Instagram story, posted a publication’s post and name-called them for doing the opposite of what she had requested them to do, respect their privacy.
“Despite requesting the said photographer and the publication, they still continue to invade our privacy. Guys! Stop this right now!”
Virat and Anushka announced that they will be welcoming their first child in August 2020. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” both the actor and the cricketer shared on their Instagram handles.
