Cast

A number of actors from the original show’s cast are set to return for the spinoff, including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Grace, Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama.

Danny Masterson will not return to the spinoff following allegations of sexual assault being levelled against him.

Plot

The Foremans’ kids had moved out of their home after graduating from Point Place High School, leaving their parents to some much-needed peace. However, the calm is disturbed as soon as Leia comes to her grandparents’ place in order to spend the summer with them. She manages to find some friends, and soon enough the ruckus follows.

Plans for the spinoff were first announced in October 2021. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp were already roped in to play the leading characters. Callie Haverda, who will portray Leia Foreman, was cast in February 2022, along with other series regulars, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos.

The makers have tried their best to give the shows an authentic ’90s feel, with the kind of tone they used for filming, the audience laughs, and the styles of hair and costume of the characters.
