Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren are back with another instalment of the horror movie threequel ‘The Conjuring’ titled ”The Conjuring- The Devil Made Me Do It’.

This time, the Warrens will be seen investigating the case of a man trying to defend himself against charges of manslaughter by claiming that “The Devil made him do it” and that he was possessed by a demon.

Inspired by the true story of Arne Cheyenne Jackson, the movie is directed by Michael Chaves and set to hit theatres and HBO Max on June 4.

In an interview with IGN India, Chaves said, “In a lot of ways, this is the biggest Conjuring movie. I showed the final cut to Vera and her husband and they agreed, and they were like, ‘This is the darkest Conjuring movie.’ It digs into some really dark material. This is definitely a case where there’s real consequence, there’s real victims.”

“Conjuring” series creator James Wan had earlier said last year, “I really wanted The Conjuring 3 to get away from the whole haunted-house setup of the first two Conjuring films. It should be more on a whole different level, something that we’ve never explored before in the Conjuring world.”

In their Tweet, Warner Bros pictures captioned the post by saying that the movie is based on the case files of Lorraine and Ed Warren.
