A visually-impaired musician has been breaking the internet with his stellar improvisation of Daler Mehndi’s hit Punjabi song ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’. Bilal Goregen, who plays a Darbuka in the video, has caught the sight of the legend singer himself.

Daler Mehndi not just watched Goregen’s cover, but also announced he will collaborate with the Turkish musician for his next song.

“This is the power of my music, my lyrics, my voice, the rhythm, even the dance hook step was choreographed by me. It took me 24 days in the studio to crack this song. Copyrights in the song are reserved with me. Thanking Divine & my fans. Will do a song with Bilal,” Mehndi wrote on Twitter.

The 4-minute long video featuring the Turkey based musician Bilal crooning to the popular Punjabi song was posted on December 4 and has garnered over 16 lakh views followed by thousands of comments.

In the video, Bilal who is not evidently unfamiliar with the Punjabi lingo, has managed to win hearts despite the incorrect accent.

Some
of the social media users even called Bilal a legend.

Bilal became an internet sensation after he performed the cover of Kaliyon ka Chaman by Harry Anand and after an edited clip of a cat vibing with the beats went viral.

In case you’re unaware of this hilarious meme, A creative mind on social media added an animated cat rhythmically bobbing its head to a video of Bilal performing on a tambourine.
