American rapper Tyga has faced a significant amount of online trolling and criticism following his performance at the BET Awards 2023 on Sunday.

A number of well-known artists, in addition to Tyga, were scheduled to play, including 69 Boys, BIA, Big Daddy Kane, Coco Jones, Lil Uzi Vert, M.O.P., Patti Labelle, Ice Spice, and Trick Daddy.

The audience anticipated an entertaining and unforgettable evening full of enthralling musical acts with such a dynamic blend of talent. 

The 2023 BET Awards is taking place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. In a departure from previous years, the event will not be open to the public. Instead, only nominees and a limited number of guests will be in attendance. As a result, fans who want to see the evening’s enthralling performances and major awards must watch the live broadcast. 

Drake emerges as the frontrunner for the upcoming BET Awards ceremony with an impressive seven nominations. The renowned performer has been nominated in illustrious categories like Album of the Year, Viewer’s Choice Award, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.

GloRilla, last year’s BET Amplified Artist awardee, secures a strong second place with six nominations. Following closely behind are 21 Savage and Lizzo, both of whom have earned five nominations each.
