Hundreds of thousands of people were expected to arrive on California’s Coachella Valley for the renowned desert arts festival, which begins on Friday. The massive festival that takes place over two three-day weekends and normally kicks off the year’s summer music circuit, will be headlined by K-pop sensations Blackpink and the acclaimed but reclusive R&B artist Frank Ocean in 2023.

What time will Blackpink, Frank Ocean be performing at Coachella 2023?

Blackpink is scheduled to perform at 9 p.m. PT, after Rosala at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday. On Sunday, Frank Ocean is scheduled to perform beginning at 10:05 p.m. PT, following Björk at 7:25 p.m. PT.

Blackpink will also be performing on Saturday, April 22.

Bad Bunny, the world’s most-streamed musician, was the first Spanish-language and first Latin American performer to headline the weekend.

South Korean K-pop trio Blackpink is the festival’s first Asian artist to achieve top billing.

Both performers made their Coachella debuts in 2019 to tremendous acclaim, paving the way for possible headlining slots.

Ocean, thought to be the first openly gay man to headline the festival, was originally scheduled as a headlining act for the 2020 edition, which was postponed and finally canceled owing to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The famed R&B performer, who hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Blonde, is expected to make his festival debut this year.

Beyond Bad Bunny, the weekend will have a strong presence from Latino artists like as Los Angeles native Becky G, rapper Eladio Carrion, Argentina’s Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and Grammy-winning Kali Uchis.

And OG rock aficionados will be treated to a special treat: Blink-182 revealed this week that they will perform a set on Friday, the first time the pop punk band has performed with its original lineup in in a decade.

Coachella will be held over two three-day weekends, April 14-16 and April 21-23.
