Where is Wade Robson Now?
Wade Robson, the Australian choreographer who came forward with allegations of sexual abuse against the late pop icon Michael Jackson, has since moved forward with his life, focusing on his career and personal healing. Robson, now 40 years old, is currently teaching dance and choreography while awaiting his upcoming trial against Jackson’s company, MJJ Productions Inc.
Robson’s journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age when his talent as a dancer was recognized. He gained prominence as a professional child dancer, winning numerous competitions and catching the attention of Michael Jackson. This led to opportunities for him to work as a guest actor and choreographer, where he achieved significant success.
Throughout his career, Robson has collaborated with renowned artists such as Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, NSync, Pink, Usher, and Aerosmith. He has also been involved in various productions, including world tours, music videos, commercials, and TV appearances. Robson’s creativity and talent have earned him two Emmy Awards.
However, in 2013, Robson filed a lawsuit against MJJ Productions Inc., claiming that he was sexually abused by Michael Jackson during his childhood. Initially, his case was dismissed by the California Court of Appeal, but it was later reversed in 2019, only to be dismissed again in 2021. Recently, the court altered its decision based on new evidence, allowing Robson’s case to proceed to trial.
Robson’s allegations against Jackson are not new. In 2005, when Jackson was on trial for allegedly molesting another boy, Robson was asked to testify regarding his interactions with the pop star. At that time, he denied any inappropriate behavior and described their relationship as innocent. However, after Jackson’s death, Robson claimed that his previous testimony was a result of manipulation and brainwashing.

While seeking justice and healing, Robson has also taken time away from his career to focus on personal growth. He temporarily stepped away from dancing and choreography to process the trauma he experienced as a child. During this time, he engaged in meditation, yoga, and meaningful conversations, infusing his teaching with real-life inspiration.
The HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, released in 2019, shed light on Robson’s allegations, amplifying the public’s awareness of his case. Now, as he awaits his day in court, Robson continues to guide aspiring dancers as a teacher at the Broadway Dance Center.
