Russell Brand, a comedian and actor, is being accused of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse over a seven-year period while he was at the height of his fame. These allegations are the result of a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times, and Channel 4’s Dispatches.

The instances of sexual assault that happened between 2006 and 2013 have been reported by four women who have come forward.

Brand has clearly denied all the accusations and claimed that all of his relationships have been mutually consenting. In the years covered by the allegations, Brand held a number of high-profile posts, including ones at BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4, in addition to appearing in illustrious Hollywood productions.

Currently, Russell Brand is married to Laura Gallacher. She is a writer by profession. The couple got married in 2017. Before this, Brand was married to renowned singer Katy Perry from 2010 to 2012.
