Punjabi singer Afsana Khan entered the Bigg Boss house on Saturday amid speculations that she has opted out of the show due to health issues. The singer was one of the first confirmed contestant, however, reports surfaced that she has opted out of the show after having a panic attack at the hotel where the contestants were quarantined.

“Mai theek nai aa, dua karo bimar hu bhut. (I am not okay. Please pray for me, I’m very ill.)” she shared on her Instagram Story. 

During the grand premier episode, the singer revealed that she got engaged and had plans to get married in November but her fiance told her that the wedding can wait and that they can get married post Bigg Boss. She also requested host Salman Khan to get her married on the show.

Who is Afsana Khan?

Afsana Khan is an Indian Punjabi playback singer, actor and songwriter who rose to fame with her blockbuster track ‘Titliaan’ which was one of the biggest hits of 2020. She participated in the singing reality show Voice of Punjab Season 3.

Sone of the hit songs include Dhakka with Sidhu Moosewala. Bazaar, Gutt Utte, Kadar, Dila Himmat Kar and Juti Jharrke.

The song Dhakka, however, got her into trouble. After she sang the song at a government senior secondary school in Punjab, an assistant professor filed a complaint against her for promoting gun culture.

In February, she got engaged to singer Saajz. Afsana shared her engagement pictures and videos on Instagram. 

Last month, she revealed that she is collaborating with Salim Merchant, Raftaar and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Afsaana is also quite active on Instagram and has 1.3 Million followers on the social media platform. She frequently interacts with her fans.
