After singer Chole Bailey received flak for announcing a new song with Chris Brown, the latter posted several Instagram stories to call out white actors who have a history of domestic violence. Brown has been previously accused of violence against women on several occasions and comes across as a controversial figure in the industry.
Among the ‘white’ actors Brown named on his Instagram stories was Nicholas Cage. The Ghostbuster actor was accused of domestic violence towards his ex-wife Alice Kim back in 2011 for which he was arrested.
Police records from 2011 indicate that the Oscar-winning actor was taken into custody in New Orleans on one count of domestic abuse and one count of disturbing peace.
Who is Alice Kim?
Alice Kim was born in 1984. A waitress turned actress, she is known for her work in the 2007 movie Next. She married actor Nicholas Cage in 2004 after meeting him at a sushi bar where she was working as a waitress. With Cage, she has a child called Kal-El Cage. She and Cage separated in 2016 after 12 years together.

As far as his domestic abuse arrest is concerned, the records from New Orleans police indicate that the actor was arguing with Kim in front of a house on Dumaine Street. He was insisting that the house they were standing in front of was their rental property.
The records further show that Cage grabbed Kim’s upper arm and dragged her towards the house. Although there were o visible signs of injury to Kim, Cage reportedly then went on to strike cars nearby before jumping into a taxi. A police officer who encountered the incident stopped Cage from hopping into the taxi after observing that the actor was heavily intoxicated. Cage then started yelling at the officer.
