Ananya Pandey is the daughter of actor Chunky Pandey and costume designer Bhavna Pandey. The 23-year-old made her acting debut in 2019 with the teen romantic drama Student of the Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
The film did poorly at the box office. Panday then starred alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. It was a commercial success, grossing $1.15 billion (US$14 million) worldwide. Panday won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in both Student of the Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

She attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School until 2017. She got to attend Vanity Fair’s Le Bal des débutantes event in Paris in 2017.
Panday co-starred with Ishaan Khatter in the 2020 action film Khaali Peeli. In 2022, she co-starred with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the Amazon Prime Video romantic drama Gehraiyaan.
Panday will next be seen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s action film Liger, which is a bilingual production in Hindi and Telugu.

Ananya Pandey is set to be in the fourth episode of Koffee with Karan Season 7 with Vijay Deverakonda. In the episode promo, which aired on Disney Hotstar on July 26, Pandey was asked about her relationship status with Aditya Roy Kapoor, to which Vijay Deverakonda reacted surprised.
Ananya Pandey was dating Khali Peeli co-star Ishan Khattar and the two called it quits after 3 years of dating.

“The two bonded well on the sets of Khaali Peeli and that led to the beginning of a new journey. However, after living their lives together for 3 years, they have decided to finally end their relationship. It has been a mutual call and the things have ended on a positive note. The two will continue to be cordial going forward,” as per Pinkvilla.
She will also appear alongside Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav in the coming-of-age film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
