Former Sky Sports TV pundit Richard Keys’ married his daughter’s friend Lucie Rose, with whom he had an alleged affair seven years back, which his ex-wife Julia Keys found out about while battling cancer.
The 66-year-old exchanged vows with his second wife, who is 32 years younger than him and was a friend of his daughter, Jemma Keys.
In an image from their wedding, posted by one of the attendees, Richard could be seen wearing a grey suit with his bride-to-be stunned in a beautiful wedding gown and a long veil. The location where the ceremony took place is believed to be Devon.
Richard has not opened up about his recent nuptials on social media. It is also not clear if Jemma attended the ceremony as she was not seen in any of the photos. It was reported back in 2016 that Jemma’s relationship with her father deteriorated after his alleged affair with Lucie was made public. She fell into depths of depression and also became an alcoholic. She also blacked out during one of her alcoholic trips and sent abusive texts to former friend, Lucie which ended up in her getting arrested and charged with harassment. The case was later dropped by CPS.
Speaking to The Sun before the ceremony, Richard said: “I’m a very lucky man, although feeling a bit nervous. We’re heading off to Canada for our honeymoon which is a bit different. Then it’s back to work for both of us in August and the start of the football season for me. People think I might be a bit long in the tooth now but I don’t care.”

Who is Lucie Rose?
Rose is a special funds counsel in the Corporate Department for London firm Prokauser. She began her career as an in-house lawyer in the Middle East and became an admitted solicitor in England and Wales.
Richard and Lucie met each other through a mutual friend in Doha when the former was working as a TV presenter for Sky Sports at the time. At the time Rose was also friends with Jemma.
In an interview with The Athletic, following his divorce from his first wife in 2016, Richard denied having an affair with Rose. “If people believe that I walked away with my wife fighting cancer with a friend of my daughter’s, I can’t change that now… I didn’t fall in love with a friend of my daughter’s.
He popped the question back in 2021. They postponed their wedding several times due to Covid.
