Before filming the sex scene in The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie had a drink of liquid courage.

The actor, who co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio as Naomi Lapaglia, Jordan Belfort’s wife, in the 2013 film, talked about the controversial opening scene where she entered without stockings or heels.

According to the Evening Standard, Robbie admitted at a BAFTA: A Life In Pictures recording that “I’m not going to lie, I had a couple of shots of tequila before that scene because I was nervous — very, very nervous.”

Who is Margot Robbie?

Margot Elise Robbie, an Australian actor, and producer, was born on July 2, 1990. She has won numerous honours and got nominations for two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and five British Academy Film Awards. She is well known for her roles in both mainstream and independent movies. Robbie, who was born and reared in Queensland, started her career in 2008 on the TV show Neighbours, where she remained a regular until 2011. Her leading roles as Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan and Harley Quinn in the DC superhero movies Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, and The Suicide Squad helped her gain further fame.

In the film, I, Tonya, Robbie played disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding to widespread acclaim and an Oscar nod for Best Actress. Her roles as Queen Elizabeth I in the historical drama Mary Queen of Scots, Sharon Tate in the comedy-drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and a fictitious Fox News employee in the drama Bombshell all garnered her nominations for BAFTA Awards, and the latter role also earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
