Federation Internationale de Football Association, or FIFA, is the highest governing body of the sport football. It was founded in 1904. It has a membership of 211 national associations.
In February 2016, Gianni Infantino became the president of FIFA. He was re-elected as the president in June 2019. He was born in Brig, Switzerland. He studied law at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He also worked at the International Center for Sports Studies in the University of Neuchatel as the Secretary-General.
Infantino was also the Director of UEFA%u2019s Legal Affairs and Club Licensing Division in 2004. He later became the Secretary-General of the body in 2009.
