Rapper Theophilus London has been reported missing in Los Angeles by his family after not being heard from in more than five months, according to a statement released by his family on Wednesday.

London’s family stated the entertainer, who has collaborated with Kanye West and Travis Scott, was last heard from in July 2022.

London’s relatives said they travelled to Los Angeles on Tuesday after trying to contact him for weeks and filed a case with the Los Angeles Police Department.

Who is Theophilus London?

Born February 23, 1987, Theophilus Musa London is a rapper and musician from the United States.

London moved to New York City after leaving his birthplace of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He later relocated to Brooklyn and finished his high school studies at George Westinghouse in 2006.

On his first EP, Lovers Holiday, which was released on February 7, 2011, Dave Sitek from TV on the Radio, Sara Quin from Tegan and Sara, Glasser, and Solange Knowles all made appearances.

On July 19, 2011, Warner Brothers published his full-length debut album Timez Are Weird These Days, which was mixed by renowned producer Dan Carey.

In June 2011, Brooklyn’s Northside Festival featured London as one of its headliners. 

At the Encore Sessions at le Baron Chinatown on February 22, 2012, London debuted his brand-new song, Big Spender, to a select New York audience.

In September 2013, London made known that his recently deceased aunt was honored on the new album Vibes. He added that he would soon be releasing an EP under the name Paris96 alongside Jesse Boykins and a new mixtape titled I Want You Still. The release date for the new album, which was executive produced by Kanye West, was revealed in September 2014. In November 2014, Azealia Banks released her debut studio album, Broke with Expensive Taste, which included him in the song JFK.

With Ariel Pink, London released the song “Revenge” in November 2016. The band New Musik’s song They All Run After the Carving Knife from their second album Anywhere was interpolated into the song.

With Tame Impala, London released the song Whiplash in October 2018. They also sang Steve Monite’s song “Only You” as a cover.
