Tom Pelphrey and his girlfriend Kaley Cuoco are expecting their first child. Both the actors made the announcement on October 11 by sharing a post on their Instagram. Kaley Cuoco captioned the post “Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023…beyond blessed and over the moon..I (love) you @tommypelphrey!!!”

Who is Tom Pelphrey?

Tom Pelphrey is a well-known American actor. He was born on July 28, 1982, in New Jersey. He attended Howell High school and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004 from Rutgers University. 

Later he studied at the Shakespeare in Globe Theatres in London

Pelphrey started dating actress Kaley Cuoco in 2022. In May 2022, they made their first public appearance together at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

Tom Pelphrey’s Acting Career

Pelphrey’s acting career began in theatre while he was in high school. His first major break came with the role of Jonathan Randall, the son of Reva Shayne and her late former husband, Richard Winslow, on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light.

The role gave him a lot of recognition and he ended up being nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Younger Actor” in 2005. In 2009, he again received huge acclamation for his role as Mick in the soap opera series As the World Turns.

Thereafter, he appeared in many films like Birds of America, Elastic, Junction, Crazy Alien and many others. He made his first OTT debut in 2020 with the series Ozark. 

He most recently played the role of Perry Abbott in the Amazon Prime Video series Outer Range and will also star as Don Crowder in the upcoming HBO Max miniseries Love and Death which is set to release in 2022. 

Apart from acting in films and television series, he has also appeared in a lot of plays like A New Television Arrives Finally and In God’s Hat.

In 2008, Tom Pelphrey founded the Apothecary Theater Company with the assistance of his friends and fellow Rutgers graduates. As co-founder and art director, Pelphrey’s idea was supposed to free up theatre-hopefuls from the often-frustrating audition grind and allow them to pursue their love for performing, producing, and directing their own theatrical plays.

Pelphrey has earned several awards. He was nominated for four consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards and he won the awards in 2006 and 2008. He received six nominations for the film Ozark and also won the 2021 Critics Choice Awards.
