Cody Longo, actor known for his roles on the likes of Days of Our Lives and Hollywood Heights, has died at the age of 34. Longo’s family confirmed that his body was found at a home in Austin on Wednesday, according to TMZ. Currently, it is unclear how long he had been dead at the time of his discovery.

The actor’s wife Stephanie asked local police to conduct a wellness check after she was unable to get in touch. She was at work at a local dance studio at the time and got an uneasy feeling when she couldn’t reach him. Police officers found him in a bed. An official cause of death has not yet been revealed. However, a family member said that he suffered from alcoholism and might have relapsed, reported TMZ.

Who was Cody Longo?

Cody Longo appeared on eight episodes of Days of Our Lives back in 2011. He was also in Bring It On: Fight to The Finish and episodes of Nashville in 2016. Fans of Hollywood Heights will most remember him as Eddie Duran on the show as he appeared in 78 episodes.

Cody Longo was born on March 4, 1987, in Denver, CO. Longo was 34 years old. He began his career on the stage both theatrically and musically and has moved on to big screens and stages. He is survived by his wife Stephanie, a 7-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son, and a 1-year-old son.

The actor starred in several hit projects such as Fame, High School, Piranha, Silent Thief, Bring it on, Make it or Break it, For the Love of Money.

He was arrested in Tennessee back in 2020 after he allegedly got into a drunken fight with his wife. He was booked into Montgomery County Jail and released shortly after on a $2,500 bond. Cody accused his wife of cheating on him before their fight escalated, law enforcement officials said, reported TMZ.
