Frank Ocean will not perform at the second weekend of Coachella 2023, TMZ reported citing the singer’s representatives. Blink-182 will reportedly replace him.

As per the TMZ report, Ocean sustained two fractures and a sprain in his left leg. His representatives told the entertainment website: “After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity.”

“On doctor’s advice, Frank is not able to perform weekend two due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.”

Coachella 2023 weekend 2 will feature Blink-182,  Björk, Bad Bunny amongst several stars. Frank Ocean performed at the music festival’s first weekend. Fans were disappointed by the singer’s performance, which started an hour late. Some social media users complained that they couldn’t see Ocean and that he did not sing his popular songs.

Blink-182, on the other hand, opened Coachella with a much-appreciated performance last Friday. He and his bandmates, Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, put on a hit show.

Frank Ocean, talking about his injury, told TMZ: “It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

Coachella 2023’s first weekend saw many singers disturbed by technical glitches. Becky G’s microphone kept cutting in and out before it stopped working. The Linda Lindas also faced problems during their set. Headliner Bad Bunny’s performance with Post Malone witnessed some mic issues.
