Singer Kellie Pickler’s husband Kyle Jacobs died after an apparent suicide. He was 49.
Jacobs was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot in an upstairs bedroom/office,” a representative for the Nashville Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital on Friday. Authorities are investigating his death.
“Mr. Jacobs’ wife, Kellie Pickler, reported that she awoke a short time earlier, did not see her husband, and began looking for him. After she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant telephoned 911,” the statement concluded.

Why did Kelly Pickler and Kyle Jacobs never had children?
Pickler and Jacobs bonded over their musical backgrounds in the mid-2000s. However, Pickler revealed that they were never in a rush to walk down the aisle. They started dating when she was very young, she did not want to put her husband or family first.
Subsequently, Pickler revealed how Jacobs finally went down on one knee in a dreamy proposal at the beach. She also added that she is “crazy” about Jacobs and he was “crazy” about her as well. The two got tied the knot in 2011. The couple remained married ever since but never had children.
“I don’t want the responsibility of raising a human being,” Pickler told OK! Magazine in 2015.
In another interview(2019) with a reputed publication, Pickler answered all questions on whether she is looking to expand her family with her husband. The Christmas at Graceland actress reportedly said, “We have two little small puppies, we’re do parents for now”.
Four years later, the couple meet a drastic tragedy in February 2023. Jacobs was found dead in his room by an apparent suicide.
