Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who is currently seen in Rumy Jafri’s film ‘Chehre’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, took to her Instagram to share a post on the overuse of social media in daily life.

“Mindless scrolling on social media cause disengagement in real life, disengagement in real life makes it seem dull and boring. Live your life, your life is not here, it’s all around you. Love RC,” she posted.

Recently, Rhea had posted a video on social media to wish her brother Showik Chakraborty on his birthday.  “Happy birthday to my everything. My warrior, I love you the mostest,” she posted along with a video with her brother.

Rhea and Showik were mired into controversy last year after Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide in June 2020.

The actor was accused by Sushant’s family for abetment to suicide and also siphoning off funds from the late actor. She was also named in a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) chargesheet along with Showik in a drug-related probe into Sushant’s death case.

On August 19, 2020, the CBI formally took over the case investigation. After that, the ED entered to probe the financial angles, followed by the NCB to unravel the drugs angle.

Sushant’s family  blamed Rhea, Showik and other friends or aides, leading to the arrest of around 33 persons by the NCB, reports India TV.

The 29-year-old spent a month in Mumbai’s Byculla jail last September.
