The Entertainment Software Association has announced the dates for the return of E3 to Los Angeles next year. The Los Angeles Convention Center will host the games expo from June 13–16, 2023, for its entire four-day duration.

E3 is finally returning to Los Angeles in-person next year after being cancelled due to COVID in 2020, going online only in 2021, and then again cancelling the entire event this year. This time, E3 is placing its bet on a new event company, ReedPop, to help the struggling show return to the pinnacle of pop culture.

ReedPop, the company behind international video game events like PAX and EGX, as well as comic book and pop culture events like New York Comic Con, C2E2, and Star Wars Celebration, will produce E3 2023, which will take place during the second week of June at the Los Angeles Convention Center. According to the ESA and ReedPop, next year’s E3 will welcome publishers, developers, media, and buyers, as well as digital showcases and in-person consumer components. E3 2023 organizers are promising titanic AAA reveals, earth-shattering world premieres, and exclusive access to the future of video games.

E3 2023 will have separate industry days and spaces from those for consumers.

Business Days: E3 Business Days are only open to registered industry professionals and will take place from June 13 to June 15. Media will be able to play future games that are being shown off by international developers and publishers in special, industry-only halls and spaces (just like in events past).

Gamer Days: These public-oriented days, which take place on June 15 and 16 (in a different hall from the industry area), invite attendees to play games first-hand at the show and give them the opportunity to interact with developers, content creators, media figures, and more. During these days, a special theater of content will be running and giving ticket holders in-depth looks at titles that are widely anticipated.
