Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Monday received the Best Actress for Panga, Manikarnika in the 67th National Film Awards.

The actor received the award from the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu as she was decked up in a traditional local weave and ditched designer labels.

Exuding elegance and regal charm, she opted for a silk saree in hues of red and gold, she finished off her Indian look with gold jewelleries and a neatly tucked bun adorned with gajra.

Her signature fresh-looking makeup topped with a humble bindi further added charm to the entire look.

Earlier, Kangana shared a glimpse of her look on social media, and wrote, “Today I am receiving joint National Award for two of my performances.. Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi (2019) Panga(2020) I also co directed Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi Immense gratitude for the teams of these films … ??”.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Chhichhore’ will also be conferred with the Best Hindi Film award. The 67th National Film awards were earlier announced in March this year, in honour of films released in 2019. The awards marked a delay due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
