Anushka Sharma, Indian actor and film producer, has time and again shared the lessons she has received from her father during the growing years of her career. On her father’s 60th birthday, Anushka took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post.
She shared an old picture of her dad lying on a sofa and reading a book. The actor expressed gratitude towards her father for all that he had taught her down the years. In her post she started with a ‘special’ line, “Celebrating 60 glorious years of the most unique 1961 special edition – my papa.”
Anushka also wrote the lessons of life that her father gave that helped her like nothing else could. She wrote, “Growing up he taught us the power of honesty, compassion, acceptance and righteousness. And always stressed upon the peace of mind that follows by being honest and hassle free. Inspired me in so many more ways than he knows! Supported me like I will never be able to reciprocate. And loved me like only he can. Love you papa. Happy 60th Birthday to you.”

A very special picture in the threads of throwback picture shared by the actor included her dad holding her daughter, Vamika. Sharma gave birth to a baby girl in January.
On the work front, the actor announced a new series called Oh Mai! with TV actor Sakshi Tanwar as its lead, the series is set to release on Netflix but other details are yet to be confirmed.
