Warsaliganj is one of the 243 Vidhan Sabha (assembly) constituencies and is located in the Nawada district of Bihar. The assembly seat falls under the Nawada Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency of Bihar. Currently, the seat is held by Aruna Devi of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Devi had defeated Pradip Kumar of JD(U) in the 2015 Bihar assembly elections by a margin of 19,527 votes.
Kumar had held the Warsaliganj seat from 2005 to 2015 and completed his two full terms as MLA from this constituency. The seat has a total of 323,869 electors enlisted, out of which 153,820 are women. The polling on this seat will take place on October 28.
