A well-known Pakistani journalist’s video of himself reporting about Karachi’s dusty winter winds has gone viral on social media. Netizens were delighted to see Chand Nawab and the video quickly crossed over a thousand views.

Chand Nawab is not just popular in his own country but is well known to people in India also. Salman Khan’s superhit movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the role of a journalist of the same name. It was Chand Nawab’s viral video ‘Karachi Se’ which had inspired Nawazuddin’s character in the film.

In his latest video, Chand Nawab is seen reporting about the dusty winds. He talks about Karachi’s weather, how nice it is that people don’t have to go to the Middle East to enjoy such weather. In the later part of the video, he is seen sitting on top of a camel. Known for his unique style of reporting, he adds on to the features of the weather, ”Right now, I am not in any desert of Arabia but on the seashore of Karachi. Dust storms like Dubai and Saudi Arabia can be experienced in Karachi today.”

Chand Nawab’s latest video also carried with it a warning for all  “dublay patlay” (skinny and weak) people. He can be heard saying that  skinny and weak people should avoid coming to the seashore or that they might fly with the wind. He added how people from the city could come and see the storm. “My hair is flying, dirt is going in my mouth and I can’t open my eyes”, Nawab can be seen describing in the video.

Journalist Nalia Inayat also tweeted the new video on her Twitter page. Nawab’s video has been flooding with excited comments appreciating his reporting style with people calling him a star and have expressed their delight in seeing him. His video has quickly gone viral on social media.
