Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay met with an accident on Sunday in Bengaluru and was later declared brain dead. The actor died on Tuesday at 3.34 am, the city’s Apollo Hospital said in a statement.

Vijay made his debut with the film ‘Rangappa Hogbitna’ in 2011. He received the National Film Award for Best Actor for the film ‘Naanu Avanalla…Avalu’.

The movie was released in May 2015 and was directed by BS Lingadevaru. The movie is based on the autobiography ‘I am Vidya’, written by Living Smile Vidya. Vidya is a transgender woman, who grew up as a boy while cherishing feminine qualities and characteristics.

Nathicharami

The movie was released on December 28, 2018, and directed by Manso Re. The movie depicts the life of a widow who fights between her growing sexual needs and the desire to remain faithful to her late husband. The movie stars Shruthi Hariharan, who plays the role of Gowri.

Krishnatulasi

The movie was released on April 20, 2018, and directed by Sukesh Nayak. Krishna and Tulasi are two people with visual impairment, who fall in love. They constantly meet during their bus rides. However, neither knows that the other is visually impaired.
