Arshad Warsi, Indian actor who has predominantly worked in Hindi film industry, was born on April 19, 1968 in Mumbai. Though he has been part of various hit movies, he got his career’s breakthrough as ‘Circuit’ in the movie ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’. 

The actor faced tough days in his early life following the death of his parents when he was 14. He had to leave studies after class 10th due to financial distress. After which, Warsi started working as a salesman for a cosmetic company.

Arshad, from his early days, was very passionate about dancing and he gave a shot at it and due to his immense passion and talent, he got into the dance group of Akbar Sami, which paved his way to become a choreographer for movies like ‘Thikana’ and ‘Kaash’ in 1987.  

This eventually led to his entry in Bollywood as an actor, he made his debut in the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ in 1996. Actor Jaya Bachchan gave Warsi the chance of his lifetime, and the film proved to be a success after which people started knowing Warsi.

But Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai MBBS made Warsi an overnight sensation in the world of acting. His exceptional performance in the movie turned him as one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed actors. After which, the star appeared in the sequel ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, for which he won several awards, including Filmfare awards.

He has worked in several movies, including Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal series and Dhamaal. In 2013, he gained further attention with his acting in the movie ‘Jolly LLB’. He was recently seen in a VOOT series ‘Asur’.
