The 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to take place from July 6 -17 this year. The gala event was previously scheduled to take place in May but has been pushed because of COVID-19

The festival is working hand-in-hand with Cannes authorities to hammer out health protocols. Some health measures being studied include setting up testing stations throughout the city, as well as around the Palais des Festivals, the main moviegoing hub.

Also, it is important to note that the festival entries must be submitted 12 months post-production so you cannot submit a film that was made %u201Cvery%u201D recently.
