Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, in a telephonic conversation with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, said that he condemns the attack that took place near the Israeli embassy on January 29 and assured him that India will deploy all its resources to find and punish the perpetrators.
A PMO statement mentioned that Modi in his phone conversation with
Netanyahu on Monday, insured his Israeli counterpart that India grants major
importance to the safety and security of Israeli diplomats and premises, reported PTI.

It said, “Both leaders expressed satisfaction about the close
coordination between Indian and Israeli security agencies in this context”. They
also explained their country’s progress in the COVID-19 battle in their
countries to each other and discussed possibilities of further collaboration in
this area.
A minor blast took place on Friday evening in
a high-security Lutyens’ bungalow zone, about 150 metres away from the
embassy. Some cars were damaged but no one was injured.

Initial investigations revealed that the IED was planted in a flower pot on the
median near Jindal House on A P J Abdul Kalam road outside the Israeli embassy.
The explosion took place on a day when India
and Israel marked the completion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment
of their diplomatic relations.
The Israeli foreign ministry also told that all its diplomats and
embassy staff in Delhi are “safe and sound”.
