The 13th edition of the Aero India show, one of
the major defence and aviation exhibitions, began at Yelahanka Air Force
Station, Bengaluru on Wednesday.

 The defence
exhibition was inaugurated by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Three Mi-17
helicopters were a part of the flypast during the inauguration of Aero India
2021.

The exhibition is a prospective opportunity for aerospace
and defence industries with a public air show.

On the second day of Aero India, Sarang helicopter aerobic display team stole the show with their incredible performance.  

The video showed two helicopters spanning the skies, creating heart-shaped formations. The helicopters are painted in red and white, boasting a peacock
figure at each side of the fuselage. They are equipped with white smoke
generators.

Sarang is a part of the Indian Air Force (IAF) aerobatic team,
flying on four Indian helicopters, HAL Dhruvs. They made their first public
display on February 23, 2004 during the Asian Aerospace at Singapore.

Sarang’s current base is the Indian Air Force base at Yelahanka,
Bangalore.
