Days after 5 Indian cricket players went into isolation, after an alleged breach of the bio bubble, all of them tested negative for coronavirus, reported ANI. According to reports, a video surfaced on the internet where Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Subham Gill, Prithvi Shaw, and Navdeep Saini were seen eating inside a restaurant, which is against the covid protocols.

Although the media has been talking about this incident, the players have shut themselves out from what people are saying. Their only focus is on the Test series that is set to begin on January 7 that will be played between India and Australia.

The media started talking about it when a fan tweeted that he saw the Indian players at a restaurant and ordered food for them. He also claimed to have been hugged by Rishabh Pant. This tweet caused a flare as it was a clear breach of the protocols.

However, the fan verified later that his claim about the hug was false and made in excitement. He confirmed that they maintained social distancing – as he handed out apologies to BCCI and the Indian team.

The Indian team has also backed their belief that all protocols related to COVID-19 were maintained. The sources have denied the need for further investigation into the matter as the fan himself went back on his claim. The visit to the restaurant was to only get some food and all the necessary safety measures were taken during the visit.
