Delhi Capitals
will start their IPL 2022 campaign with a clash with Mumbai Indians on Sunday
at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
After last
season’s below-par performance, Mumbai Indians will be determined to get off to
a winning start in search of their sixth IPL trophy under the captaincy of
Rohit Sharma. DC will be led by young captain Rishabh Pant.

Mumbai Indians retained their core team. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron

Nortje. In the auction, they signed Australian opener batsman David Warner
among the marquee players.
