Suryakumar Yadav scored his second T20I hundred in the match against New Zealand at Mount Maunganui on Sunday, reaching the three-figure mark with consecutive fours.

He became the second Indian batter to score two T20I centuries in a calendar year after Rohit Sharma. SKY finished 111 not out off 51 balls, with 11 fours and seven sixes.

Suryakumar was the third-highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, with 239 runs in six innings at a brilliant strike rate of a shade under 190.

Here are a few other knocks in T20I this year that made fans stand up and take a bow:

1) Suryakumar Yadav scored 117 off 55 balls against England on 10th July at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The 31-year-old smashed an outstanding century in the third and final T20I match of the series.

2) Virat Kohli was not out 122 of 61 balls at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in a match against Afghanistan on September 8, during Asia Cup. It was the 71st international century of his career. 

3) David Miller made 106 in 47 balls against India in Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium, Guwahati back on October 2 but it was not enough as South Africa fell short of the total by 16 runs on an evening in which more than 450 runs were scored.

4) South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw scored 109 against Bangladesh in just 56 balls at Sydney Cricket Ground, Australia on October 27. It was the first hundred of this year’s T20 World Cup.

5) The second knock came from New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips against Sri Lanka, where he made 104 in 64 balls. Following the knock, he said it was the most special innings of his short-form career so far.
