The Indian Premier League is scheduled to start on September 19. Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking to assert their dominance in the Indian Premier League. Led by Dinesh Karthik the Kolkata outfit will be raring to go and with the right mix of youth and experience, KKR will look to ruffle a few feathers this IPL. The team will also aim to qualify for the play-offs, having fallen short last year.

The team won its first Indian Premier League title in 2012 and again won it in 2014.

The team will be banking on experienced overseas players like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Eoin Morgan to shoulder the team.

With promising domestic players like Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, and Kuldeep Yadav, “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo” will be the team’s mantra this IPL. The two times champions will begin their quest for their third title against rivals Mumbai Indians.
