The 10 Indian Premiere League franchises released the list of retained, released, and traded players on Tuesday, ahead of the upcoming mini-auction to be held in Kochi on December 23. 

Following the announcement, a clearer idea of the remaining balance of each team for the 2023 auction has also come. 

Sunsrisers Hyderabad, who top the list of released players with 12 departures, will have the highest balance with a purse of Rs 42.25 crore. Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, comes at the bottom with only Rs 7.05 crore left.

In a major update for the 2023 IPL, each team’s total purse was increased from Rs 90 crore to Rs 95 crore.

Here’s a look at the remaining pursue value of each IPL team.

1. Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad are expected to buy the most number of players in the upcoming mini-auction with a purse value of Rs 42.25 crore. They also have four overseas slots vacant. 

2. Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings have the second-highest purse value going into the 2013 IPL season with Rs 32.20 crore. The team now has three overseas slots vacant. 

3. Lucknow Supergiants

Lucknow Supergiants will go into their second IPL Auction with a purse value of Rs 23.25 crore. They also have a total of four slots vacant for overseas players.

4. Mumbai Indians

Mukesh Ambani-owned Mumbai Indians have 20.55 crore in the purse. After the departure of Kieron Pollard, the team now has three overseas slots vacant.

5. Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings will go into the 2023 IPL auction with a purse value of 20.45 crores. They have 2 overseas slots vacant.

6. Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals have Rs 19.45 crore for the IPL 2023 auction. They also have only two overseas slots to fill.

7. Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans come next on the list with a remaining purse value of Rs 19.25 crore. They have three overseas slots vacant now.

8. Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have Rs 13.20 crore in the purse for the 2023 IPL auction in Kochi. They, however, have four vacant slots for foreign players.

9. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challenger Bangalore have decided to retain their major players and are now left with only Rs 8.75 crore in their purse. They have two overseas slots to fill.

10. Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders are the team with the lowest purse balance in the 2023 IPL auctions. They have to fill three overseas player slots with it.
