As COVID limitations are gradually being lifted around the country and hundreds of people are travelling to the hills with no regard for COVID etiquette, a little boy took it upon himself to prevent visitors from walking around the streets in Dharamshala without masks.
The barefoot boy is seen stopping people without masks with a stick in a busy lane in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, in a video that has gone viral on social media.
As he softly hits the visitors with his stick, the child can be heard saying,”tera mask kahan hain (where is your mask)? Mask, mask.”

In the minute-long video, over 30 people were seen sans masks crossing the alley lined with stores.
While some smirk at him, others appear irritated, no one is embarrassed. Someone even tried to take his stick away from him, but the youngster, armed with it and his mask, kept going.
The video was released on the same day that the authorities warned that individuals roaming around hill stations and marketplaces without adopting COVID-appropriate behaviour might undo the progress accomplished so far to rein in the pandemic.
According to news agency PTI, an official described photographs and footage of the packed hill stations as “frightening.”
