Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday, talked about a range of topics from Atmanirbhar Bharat to Water Conservation in the 74th edition of Mann Ki Baat. During the 74th episode, he spoke about one Silu Nayak, who hails from Arakhakuda in Odisha, adding that Nayak is a “man on a mission”. Nayak trains young people who aim to get into Indian Army free of cost in Odisha.

Praising Nayak, the PM said that he is popularly known as ‘Nayak Sir’ and the name of his organisation is Mahaguru Battalion. He trains young men to clear all the exams required to enter into the Indian defence forces. Training for physical fitness, interviews, writing exams is given to aspiring soldiers.
Nayak once tried to get himself inducted to Odisha Police force but he failed eventually. But, that didn’t stop him. He used his training to send a lot of young men to Indian defence forces. The PM further congratulated Nayak for his feat and wished that he keeps on training young people to give India more heroes like him.

The PM Modi said that many young people trained in his organisation have been selected to BSF, CRPF, uniform forces, Navy, Air force and Armed forces.
