Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned Miss Universe 2021 in a historic moment, 21 years after India’s previous victory in the pageant.She has starred in the Punjabi films “Yaara Diyan Poo Baran” and “Bai Ji Kuttange.” Before being named Miss Diva Universe 2021, she won the title for Miss Max Emerging Star India in 2018 and Femina Miss India Punjab 2019. Harnaaz looks forward to former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta as role models since they have represented India admirably on this stage.

The 21-year-old winner is presently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration and adores acting, dancing, swimming, and horse riding. She describes herself as a quick learner, versatile, compassionate, and confident person that pursues her passion with a headstrong approach.

Harnaaz Sandhu hails from Chandigarh, India. She attended Shivalik Public School and Post Graduate Government College for Girls, both of which are in Chandigarh. 

The 21-year-old participated in Times Fresh Face Miss Chandigarh contest in 2017 and won the title. She also won the title of Miss Max Emerging Star 2018 India.

When asked what advice she would give to young women watching on how to deal with the pressures they face today? Sandhu said, ” Well, I think the biggest pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves.
